38 weeks
It’s almost show time! We have LITERALLY (maybe) only two weeks left of this pregnancy. Time has flown by and also slowed down this last trimester. I’d reckon that has a lot to do with ME slowing down from the size of this belly, and being impatient to see her already ☺️ I’m now on my weekly scheduled OBGYN visits and it’s feeling really real. I’ve maintained a weight of 145-146 with blood pressure in the 110/80 range. Baby is head down and a squirmy as ever! I’d like to imagine she’s just doing finishing touches on her hair and makeup before her grand entrance since these last two weeks are just the waiting game. As my belly has grown, I knew we wouldn’t be doing maternity photos due to photographer rates being out of our price range. I’m also not sure there are many photos of the women in my family from when they were each pregnant. I’ve documented a lot of bump pictures but wanted to have something to look back on when she’s older/I’m older that wasn’t just mirror shots. It isn’t the most important thing but I was definitely a little sad about it. WELL this weekend Steven and I went to a lavender festival and he sprung an impromptu maternity shoot on me. Just us and my phone. There’s something so special about having her father be the one to capture the joy of this pregnancy in photos we’ll hold onto forever. This turned out to be a much more meaningful experience for us than hiring a photographer. He did such a great job! 💕 I sound like a broken record but I’m so grateful to be loved so much by him and all of you keeping up. Sending all of the love back and more!
