Nursery Things & Baby Prep

As the time gets closer to seeing our girl, the more excited and anxious I'm becoming. I keep feeling like I'm not ready enough or don't have things perfectly clean or set up in the room, but Steven reassures me that we are in a very fortunate position. With all of the wonderful gifts we have received, to the purchase of this amazing glider/rocker he bought us--I can rest knowing we truly have everything we need to successfully bring this girl home. I'm also reminding myself she is not going to notice if the ceilings are not dusted for the 10th time this week. šŸ˜… Some of my favorite things for future her are the books we will read! We have started our collection. Some I've had since I was a child, some were gifted (Thanks Auntie Dre and Grandma RobinšŸ’•), and some we just bought. I can't wait to share these special memories with her. Other things I hold dearly: the "titos", or stuffies, that Uncle James gifted to us from Deanna's collection. They stayed by her side through her time in the hospital and I'd like to think they carry a piece of her spirit in them. Having them surround our baby brings me comfort knowing part of Deanna will always physically be near to watch over. Photos of family will also always be displayed; even though you all are far away, she will always grow up knowing the faces of those we love that love her too. ā¤ļø Let's see, what else? Ahh! Hospital bags are packed! All of her little clothes and blankets are washed and ready to go. This is probably the most organized the clothing drawers will look so I had to document it, hahaha! We also spent time prepping some frozen things for easy dinners/breakfasts for now and postpartum. Its safe to say we will be continuing this for a while. Thank you for the continued love and support. We are getting so so close!
